The fish was "THIS BIG!"

This is our handsome Daddy on Field Trip morning. We went fishing with an actual pole and hooks and had a great time.
Brigham thought it was fun to sit in the stroller on the dock and let his brother and sisters feed him bits of their breakfast.
We really liked feeding the ducks and the baby ducks were especially cute. The turtles were evasive when it came to the camera, but were great at eating the bait off our hook.
Catch #1 was a catfish. These are so much prettier in the wild - a beautiful green color, but watch out. According to Daddy they have barbs behind their gills and can really hurt you so we used the pliers to release this guy.
Here's Ksenya with her catch of the day. This fish is called a Blue Gill which I thought was dumb because the fish was actually yellowish orange. Go figure. As you can see this one was puny, but she was still pretty excited!
And finally the last one before we left. Kabe was determined that this was the same catfish as the first catch, but I think it probably wasn't unless it was the dumbest fish on earth. I mean doesn't that hook in his lip look painful?

What a fun adventure. I think we could do this more often and I'll admit I enjoyed the suspense just as much as the kids did.
