Plugged In

OK - this is a confession post. I use the television to occupy my children on occasion. Now, I won't admit to how often "on occasion" is, but it happens. On this particular day I had to laugh because they were all so completely engrossed. I must have taken about 12 pictures before any of them even blinked and Ayvri never turned from the tube to see what all the flashing was about.
I'll never understand why kids love to sit so close to the TV instead of on the soft couches, but this is where they cluster and thank heavens Daddy will be able to fix their necks.

So - I was going to give you "mother of the year" award for the cooking lessons but then I read below and nope.... Just kidding! Any of us mothers with more than 2 children or even just 1 child would by lying to say we don't use the TV as a babysitter once in a while. My kids have learned more from Little Einstiens, Mickey Mouse Club House, Dora, Diego and the list goes on! I am glad to see you are not perfect because you had me convinced. You are amazing and I have to tell you, it has been so awesome to me to reconnect after so long!

ps I better your belly is way cute for that adorable apron!!!

HAHA! Ditto on what your friend Jessica said! It's relief to me to see this picture of your kids! And it's okay too! We all do it and I really don't believe anyone that says they never have. Ella knows more spanish from watching Dora than I know period!

I love it! Funny, because when they come over to my house I ask them to sit on the couches because I don't want the TV to hurt their eyes. But the floor is where they say they feel most comfortable.
Such a cute picture!!
