I fear Kabe has been neglected on the blog lately. The girls have been hitting so many milestones and are easier to photograph because, to be perfectly honest, they sit still more. But Kabe's subtle growing has really caught up to me lately as I realize what a big boy he's becoming. The other night Tyler took him out to play a little baseball. There's something to be said for the way Daddy's and boys get along. Boys need their Daddy's in a whole different way than the girls do and Kabe has really been pushing for more Daddy time lately. He really was in heaven out there hitting the ball and playing catch with his Dad. One of my favorite times with Kabe is when he wakes up. The girls tend to wake up a little bit emotional and need a few minutes of TLC to regroup. Not Kabe. 99% of the time he comes running out of his room full-tilt and throws his chest out and says, "Ta-Da!" Makes me laugh every time! He gave the Family Home Evening lesson this week on Missionaries. He told the story of Ammon (with sound effects and all) and then told about how Daddy was a missionary too and then said, "Someday I'm gonna be a missionary!" What a smart, handsome, wonderful kid! Although sometimes I call him my little noise-machine (seems like he's always producing some sound effect at the top of his lungs), he really is quite a joy and I'm so thankful for my boy!!!
