Where is Heaven?

Right here! Finally family pictures and a huge thanks to my s-i-l Christie for doing a great job in not much time with all 7 faces and attitudes. This one was my favorite - I love seeing faces up close and somehow having our "heads together" just seemed appropriate for where we're at in life right now. It's a team effort and it takes all seven of us, even little Darlin' to make life work.
Fall is absolutely beautiful in Emmett - all the leaves are brilliant and look like a golden carpet on the lawn. It's the season of gratitude and I'm so thankful to be in this beautiful place with these beautiful people. I'm incredibly thankful for the man I married. He spoke in church last Sunday and I was reminded again of the sheer power of his humble testimony. He has been working so hard and is a calming force for me when I get all freaked out about life.
I love that my kids, despite their fighting, are buddies. They can play together so well and really enjoy each other. Age isn't usually an issue and I'm thankful that they are all so close together that they can appreciate one another now and forever.
I know that families are central to the plan. In my talk last week I spoke about how Elder Nelson gave us a mission statement for mortality . . . . "to build an eternal family". That is certainly the focus of my life's work and I'm so thankful that the Lord has trusted me with these 5 little wonders and a partner that completes me and compensates for my flaws. It's a beautiful day in paradise. Home is heaven!

These family pictures are breathtaiking! I love the circle picture with seven sets of gorgeous big blue eyes.

So fun seeing you all together. Glad Christie came to the rescue!

We just got our family pictures, and we have one like the top one with all of your heads. Except, I think your family must be a little happier, less chaotic, or maybe you just like each other.
Ours wasn't exactly what you would call a team effort! There was effort involved, but it wasn't focused at the camera!
