Occasionally we make friends who really feel like they're a part of our family. Ken has officially been adopted. We just loved having him visit and I was amazed at what a good sport he was with all the family projects and work jobs, not to mention the way my children mauled him the whole time he was here. We hope he can visit again.
McElligot's Pool. One of my favorite books of all time and it was fun watching him read it to the little herd.
Here we are on our way to our camping trip. Obviously Kabe was in fine form, but hey - it's his party and he can act weird if he wants to.
He was also there for blessing day for Darla. I've never seen someone who doesn't have kids of their own so comfortable and natural with a newborn. He'd pick her up when she cried, without being asked and without a frantic look on his face. Amazing!

We Love Uncle Ken too! He is so great with the kiddos. He will make a great Daddy someday.
