Yep, another National park . . . 4 in one week! This time we took a drive to Zion Canyon and did a little hiking!

Well, some of us hiked - others of us (Darla) slept the whole time and drew a lot of attention from other hikers who were all amazed that she was up to the adventure. She loved it and was mad when it was over and I put her back into her carseat to drive home. She even had a little lunch at the Temple of Sinawava.

Ken got to play taxi for Brig and Ayvri most of the way - their little legs tired easily.

Daddy got a rock in his shoe. Both Tyler and I got a pair of Vibrum 5-finger shoes and boy am I in love. They took a little getting used to, my baby toe had to be retrained to not curl under. They are very comfortable and have good traction too. I hope they last forever.

Such a testimony of the great Creator. I love that so many of the peaks have religious names, it feels appropriate to me.

Weeping Rock is a trail I'd never taken before - very short and so pretty. I love the hanging gardens and wonder, if these flowers and plants can grow out of a rock on their own, why can't I grow them in my garden with tender loving care? One of life's great mysteries.
