Trans-Planted

The best piece of advice I was ever given was "Bloom where you are planted". I felt like we really blossomed as a family in Texas and here we are - transplanted to a new garden, very different, but just as beautiful. We are thrilled about our new 'stompin' grounds' and so thankful that the Lord provides for us with each new chapter of our lives. The kids and I made this sign to put out by the road so that people can find us (and to illustrate the point of being planted here).
Here is the princess in front of her horses. Ayvri really does think that these horses that live in the pasture by our house are somehow hers and she is constantly reminding me of our two family rules "You get what you get and you don't throw a fit", and "Don't walk behind a horse or it will kick you in the face." Don't ask me where she decided these were our only two family rules, but I guess they are good rules to live by.
This is our new house. I love the long driveway that separates us from the highway. I love the pasture with horses right out our front windows. I love that we are in the county and are on a well system. I love that I'm exactly 5 minutes away from the kids school, 30 seconds away from the church (it's RIGHT across the street) and 5 minutes away from Daddy's clinic. There are a lot of other things that I love about this place - stay tuned for a "favorite things" post coming soon.

So nice to see you moved safely and that you like your new house. It is always difficult to move, but like my mom says, even flowers wilt a little when they're transplanted. So we can take a bit of time to simply adjust.

Hope the kids like school, hope Tyler likes his job, and hope you like getting back into a routine and making your house homey.

Sure love you all! Hugs and kisses to everyone.

I love the pictures, thanks for keeping us updated. I only wish it were a little closer - but that is probably a little selfish of me.
