Dear Darla,I hope you know what a time we had naming you! We really felt like you should have a name that would give you your own unique identity while at the same time reminding you of your potential and the legacy of faith you've been given by your family. I hope that as you grow you will remember the good women who've come before you, two of which you've been named after, and strive to emulate their good examples. I promise to try every day to love you and teach you the way the Lord intended when he sent you to our family. When I fail, please look to your Grandma's and Aunts to make up for my short-comings. They are strong. They are beautiful. They are intelligent capable women and they love you. I love you too!

Oooh, thank you! I never see pictures of my mom and so this was so good for me.
Well this one made me cry! What a legacy Darla really has. She is a beautiful baby born to a beautiful mother. You will be her greatest ali and I know she is one blessed little spirit to be born to one Toni Dee Petersen! You are an amazing woman.
