I Feel My Savior's Love

I have always loved the scripture that says that all things testify of Christ. Tonight I was given yet another witness that He lives and that He loves me, He knows my heart and sends tender encouragement through his earthly angels. As I sat alone tonight, rocking the baby and feeling sentimental (I'm always more silly and emotional after dark), our doorbell rang. I'll be honest, I am not used to having a doorbell and it scared me to death. It was a sweet brother from our ward who had just stopped by to introduce himself and meet us. I closed the door and felt gratitude that my loving Heavenly Father knew what I needed. Not 10 minutes later and the doorbell rang again. I thought for sure the same brother must have forgotten something he needed to tell me, but when I answered the door there was yet another couple from our new ward. They just stopped by to welcome us. Amazing. I am humbled to tears at the goodness of people and the way they take what may seem like little thoughts and accomplish great kindnesses. My family is in good hands, the Lord's hands and those of His servants. I'm reminded of our Sunday school lesson last week, "How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet". Those sweet friends may never read this, but if they do . . . Thank You!
