Last week our Relief Society teacher gave me a new principle and catch-phrase. She taught us that we should pay attention during our meetings for messages that the Lord was sending for us, answers to our prayers or questions or lessons that we need to learn. That is our take-away. Basically it's the answer to the age-old Mom question, "What did you learn at church today?" I like the concept . . . often during conference I feel like certain talks were given just for me so why not messages in our weekly meetings to?
Today my take-away was this:
Heavenly Father is more concerned with our growth than our comfort. Because He loves us.

Toni... I really needed to hear that today. Thank you so much for sharing your thoughts and take away. What a great message to remember!
I was wondering how you got your button that links to lds.org? Thanks!
I needed to hear that today too. I'll pay more attention for those "take-aways."
How I love you Toni Dee! I love reading your thoughts, and it makes me want to be better. I will watch for "take-aways" too. Thanks a million!!
