The Mommy and Daddy got the chance to have a little get-away kid-free and we spent 5 days in Texas together playing hard. We even got all fancied up to go to the graduation banquet. My husband is definitely the most handsome man on earth. He was recognized at the banquet for completing the abroad program.
It was also a good chance for us to see some of our friends who have also moved and spent the last trimester abroad. After 4 years "together" it's fun to look back to where we started.
And, of course, the guys had a lot of inside jokes to share too. It wasn't the most serious of celebrations - the relief in the air was palpable and most of us were so giddy at the thought of being really and truly "done" that we definitely let our hair down.
I am so proud of my smart husband - Congratulations Dr. Petersen!

Congratulations! A lot of hard work goes into these higher pursuits:) We've only attended one of Kade's graduations (his undergraduate one) because he's not a "walking" man:)and no attempts at coersion were successful. Again, congratulations, guys, you did it! Best of luck!
Congrats to both of you. It is a long road but definately worth the work. We are happy for you guys. It's a bit strange to think that we now don't know anyone still at Parker.
