So . . . I went to my room and found this - a beautiful little note with a picture inside - a picture of me and her that said, "I love you Mom". Next to the bed there were three little presents for me that she had made. I can't believe that my baby is in 2nd grade. I'm always telling people what a good girl she is and it's true - she is always helping me, always doing sweet little things and being there for her siblings when I need her to. She is a tender-hearted little dear and is so concerned about other people it's wonderful. I just love her and HATE having her gone to school all day, but even at that, when I pick her up she asks me how my day was and gives me lots of hugs because she knows that this is hard for me. She constantly asks if I need to sit down or if I need a drink and is very conscious of the baby and how I'm feeling. This morning she prayed for everyone in our family specifically and I was again reminded of what an overwhelming responsibility it is to be her mother! Sure love that "skinny-pants" of mine.

She's All That!
The other night when I went to bed, this is what I saw taped to the gate at the bottom of the stairs: "Mom, Go to your room - I love you, Ksenya".
