Ksenya at Lost Lake

Ksenya got to do a 14 mile 3 day, 2 night backpacking trip into Lost Lake.  She was really nervous (and I might have been a little nervous too) having never done anything like this before.

We painstakingly packed her pack and practiced with it.  20 pounds was the goal and we made it all fit.

Her leaders are the coolest - I knew she was in good hands and they are such go-getters!

She said it rained a lot and they did get a little cold but it was such a great experience for her and she got to see the northern lights in full force on the top of the mountain by the lake (I'm only a little jealous).  

Next time I think I'll go with her!
