Ayvri is getting ready to go to Kindergarten. We decided it might be important for her to learn her letters and sounds and start reading and writing. I know, sad that I've put it off for so long as she's been ready for EVER, but Aunt Aimee has decided to help us out and has started working with us a few times each week. She is picking it up really quickly and is getting so excited about school on the horizon. It's fun writing with a lefty and she's a diligent little writer and reader.

I'm sure I've mentioned this about a billion times, but I'm in a Masters in Teaching program, getting my teaching certificate for elementary ed. One of the books we recently reviewed for my lit class is "I want my hat back". Seriously, one of the most hilarious books I've read in a long time, and it looks awesome for new readers. Basically, I'm pimping it out for everyone, because I love it. lol.
Way to go Avri! I keep forgetting that she and Locke are the same age and will both be going to Kindergarten in a few months!
