Every year the Lions Club puts on a western parade and rodeo. The Great American Stampede. We headed to the parade in style, every kid had to have a cowboy hat and they were very serious about it. They loved seeing all the horses and I did too.
My favorite entry was the Lavender Farms wagon with 6 huge black draft horses. They were so well trained and moved so quickly together they were amazing to watch. 
The kids particularly loved the cowboy girls and their trick riding (although I saw some dangerous ideas pass through their minds as they watched). It was a lot of fun and we can't wait to go again next year.
