The Winds of Change

I have always said I wouldn't get frumpy, "let myself go", but I'm afraid that is exactly what has happened the last little while. I've been so attached to my long hair that I have let it define me a little - and so, in an attempt to not be a bag lady I decided it was time for change. This is me before the change. Feeling a little jittery but hoping that I wouldn't regret it and that Tyler would like it.
This is the pile of hair that was on the ground (not all of it mine) half-way through the cut. Luckily I didn't look down and see it or I might have thrown up. I was a little panicky at that point. Remember, it's been 20 years since my hair was shorter than my shoulders.
And here I am at the end. I still hadn't seen myself at this point. Verdict: I like it. I'm glad I did it, I'm thankful for Sarah for talking me into it. So, if you're feeling frumpy - do it! Take the plunge . . . make a change, you just might feel like a new woman.

Very cute and chick! I hear you about how a haircut can make a big difference--I feel that same perker-upper every six weeks when I get mine cut again. :) That alone makes short hair worth it. Plus how cool it is in the summer, how much faster it is to blow it dry and style, and how perky it makes you feel. I'm a fan! And hair grows back if we ever want it back again (although my issue now is I love the convenience so much that I don't know how I can ever go back)!

Love your beautiful-haired guts,
Jami

I LOVE IT!! Seriously, if my hair would do anything but straight, I admit, I would copy you! Um, that sunburn looks painful, though...
