After the first foot of snow fell during the night this is what we woke up to. 
By the next day (and second day of school cancelled) we went out to play in it.
A winter wonderland like we haven't seen in years (literally). What a fun Christmas surprise.

That is a fabulous winter surprise. (Unless of course you are trying to paint the outside of a building, I heard it isn't that good of an idea. )
