My birthday was really great this year - I got the one thing that I wanted more than anything. I got to have Tyler home with me all day long! I also got spoiled in a million ways. See the new white shirts (I love white shirts, they just don't stay white long with me) . . . that's from my Mom and the beautiful jewelry is from Tyler's Mom. Mom's just know how to make you feel special!!!
See the cake? Tyler helped me make it. It was simple, uncomplicated and quick . . . just like me. HAHAHA Ok - so I got the recipe from Bakerella (you must check out her site) and had to try it . . . it just seemed so over-the-top! It was a total pain and the cake was gross, but the frosting - OOOH that frosting! Seriously, make this cake with a box and then use her frosting recipe . . . that's heaven! And it's very pretty when it was cut although I'm a terrible food photographer!
And here I am with the whole little gang. Thanks Daddy for snapping the picture - this is a rare moment. The kids and Daddy got me the most thoughtful thing. A new pair of glasses (Ayvri destroyed my last) so I can see when I'm up in the night and don't hurt myself. (don't even ask!)Thanks to all who made my day great, I'm happy to announce I'm now 28!!!

Happy birthday, a little late. My new favorite line to all the relatives this year is "this is the only area of my life where I run on Mormon Standard time." I love the picture with you and all your honeys. It looks like Brigham is intensely checking out Kabryn's hair/ear. That frosting looks really yummy. It even makes me wish a were a cake person for just a day. Give all those gorgeous kiddos some CPAL (California Petersen Auntie loves--clever, huh?
