Blue Christmas

This is what happens when little girls climb into the empty Christmas tree box, when Mommy is focused on stringing the lights, when Daddy takes a bathroom break and the box tips over. This is what happens when a little two-year-old elf hits her face on the corner of a big plastic tupperware Christmas storage box. This is what it looks like after the swelling goes down and the screaming stops.

OK just kidding - see I just love how photoshop can give me perspective. This (above) is NOT what she looks like, but Ksenya and I had a lot of fun painting her face in photoshop. This (below) is what she actually looks like, not so bad huh? See if I'd shown you this one first you'd have flipped out over her black eye, but now you can see how much worse it could have been :) Wasn't that nice of me?

Oh, sweet baby! Good idea Toni on the photoshop. Bet your mom loved that.

That is horrible! Trace was doing the same thing with the boxes. Thankfully we had to "incident" (Well that I know of.)

You are so funny! Even the real thing looks a little tramatic to me though. Poor girl!

Ayvri is so cute and photogenic... even with a black eye! And, I've seen worse. When my sister was a baby, I tripped on a curling iron cord and burned the whole side of her face. It was awful. Lucky for her, it healed without a trace!
