After a couple months of swimming lessons with Miss Mindy (whom we love), the kids really are making great progress in the water. I finally got the chance to document a little bit of it and here they are in all their wet glory!
Kabe is such an amazing little swimmer. He really can swim about 15 feet with his face in the water the whole way. I'm so impressed with him. He's even started using his arms and is a good diver too! Definitely his Daddy's boy!.
Ayvri is also a little fish - although she has no skill yet, she also has no fear, she loves to jump in over and over and I just think it's so darn cute when she shakes her head coming out of the water. Nothing seems to phase her and it's so fun to watch her kick like crazy. It is a little annoying to try to hold on to her in the pool though because she struggles so hard all the time to get you to let go of her!
Ksenya is just like her mother in the pool. She totally freaks out when she gets water anywhere near her face and refuses to stick her head in the water a lot of the time, although she is much braver than me and will occasionally "bob" her head in and out really fast.

Great little swimmers! Ayvri has to be the best, over and over....and the head shake...SUPER CUTE!
The kids watched this over and over. they loved watching their cousins swim. they have been little fish themselves. Kaeden is quite the swimmer these days, he is now without floatys and thinking he is pretty bad to the bone. I love watching Ayvri, what a doll. Her little head shake! Tyguy is looking really good! Go Tyler!

Little mermaides love it...ok so fish for kabe. Super cute!! Marisa for a while was doing great on her stomach then all of a sudden she decided it was much easier to swim on her back because she dosent have to put her head under the water. So funny how sometimes the water can be scary to them. Great job!!
