Someone's in the Kitchen with Mama!

The kids have always loved to help out in the kitchen, so I decided to make it a weekly affair. I promised to give them "cooking classes" and they haven't let me forget. As part of the fanfare I got these cute chef hats and aprons for them (things can get a little messy). The first lesson was scrambled egg sandwich and I had to laugh as Kabe mangled his eggs to get them open. We also made fruit salad and they were very careful with their knives as they cut up the fruit. They were so studious and serious and it was really entertaining for me to observe. The second lesson was pancakes, and they did a great job. I wonder what we'll make this week? I also got them these little mini-whisks and I actually tried to use one the other day because all of my whisks were dirty - Kabe let me know that it was HIS stirrer, but that I could borrow it if I promised to wash it.

How fun, I just might have to do that with Presley, she is always asking to help. Or can I just send her to your house? =)

How fun. Collin likes to help and Connor just wants to eat! Maybe I should do the same thing. Where did you get the hat and aprons??

Those hats and aprons are awesome! They must feel so special to get these special lessons from mommy! I might steal this idea from you. Michael loves to help me cook and I'm sure he would love it if I turned it into "cooking lessons"!
