Daddy has decided enough is enough with our spoiled little diva who refuses to speak. (Mom agrees). So last night negotiations began over a pickle. The other kids have to say please which means so does Ayvri (any grunt other than "mama" counts as a please for her, so don't feel too bad for the little dear). I couldn't help but laugh as she tried everything from using her sweetest voice, to rubbing her eyes, to glaring at Dad and pleading with me. She was determined to get what she wanted without having to speak. I don't know if she finally came up with a version of please, or if Daddy gave in to this little blondie (he does have quite a soft spot for her), but she ended up thoroughly enjoying her pickle! These two are so much alike and I love to watch them "work" each other!

YUM! How can you resist a pickle! I am surprised she only ate just 1. Isn't it amazing how much effort kids will go to not do something, even though it is easier just to do what is asked? I know I feel like a kid in that aspect somedays.
It's those curls. What wouldn't I do for curls like that?
so cute! I love her little grunts. Is that food storage I see in the corner?!? Want to teach a class for HFPE?? haha
The curls are all thanks to sponge curlers - they work like a charm and so much safer than chasing her with the curling iron! And yes, that's food storage and if anyone has a better idea of where to put it I'd love to get it out of my kitchen!
What a sweet little blondie baby! hope we can see you guys sometime this year! Love you!
I'd have a hard time telling her no too! She's so darling!
Maryn says "Peas". It's really funny!
