I woke up this morning to the most wonderful sound . . . Thunder!!! Yes after seemingly endless sunshine and heat we finally got a little rain this morning and decided we had to celebrate by going outside to play. Other than the pool we've been inside people and we were all a little stir-crazy. So we crowded out the door to splash and get wet and be silly in the rain and wow it felt SO good!!! I just love the sounds, smells and sights of rain. Of course now it's sunny and warming up quickly but it was a great way to start our day. Then the kids wanted to watch "Singin' in the Rain" - I just love that movie and the kids really enjoy the singing and dancing too. So even though the rain is gone . . . today we're thankful for our "rainy" day, Heavenly Father must have known that this Mommy needed it!!!
p.s. sorry for the blurry photos but I was a little shaky this morning and haven't re-installed photoshop yet so I didn't get to "play" with them before uploading.

ohhhhh, I am sooo jealous! I LOVE the rain!!! Maybe we will get lucky and get some around here....pshhh yeah right. I am glad you got the kids out and stomped around in it, nothing beats rain puddles!

I am jealous of your playing in the rain! Even though we have gotten rain the last little while, we have missed the opportunities to play in it! Cute cute kids!
