So - we all know that kids say the funniest things. Here are a just a few that have really made me laugh lately.
Ksenya: "Girls are sweet and boys are wrestly"
"I guess Heavenly Father gave me diarrhea because I haven't been wiping too well"
Kabe: "But Dad . . . sometimes you spank me!"
"Maybe just cuz I'm your favorite boy I could have a snack?"
Ayvri: OK - I know she doesn't speak words yet, but she has started saying "Nonononononono"a lot - especially to Kabe and Sam and her favorite thing to say is "BAH!" (which in Texas means Bye!) . . . this one usually gets yelled quite loudly for at least a minute after the person leaves, during which she is frantically waving her arm like it's on fire!
One thing I love is their honesty - although it sometimes gets us in trouble. More than once they've said politically incorrect things (albeit true) in public places and had Mommy wanting to hide under the cart. We were introduced to the concept of a nose ring the other day in wal-mart and Ksenya turned to the checker and asked, "Is that so you can't pick your nose?"

That is hilarious! They are brutally honest but ya gotta love em' for it right? I love your new look!
Oh thanks for sharing! Made me smile and miss those kiddos even more.. thank goodness I'm having one of my own cause I just can't take being so far away from all my adorable nieces and nephews anymore!
That is awesome! I am sure you handle these things well, though. My little Reagan once told the lady behind us in line that her daughters were immodest and so was she because we keep our shoulders covered! I just kept unloading the cart and pretending I didn't hear...
Delaney always says the most inappropriate things. And if I try to ignore her, she just phrases it like a question and keeps repeating it at louder and louder decibels until I respond. I feel your pain. Sometimes the truth isn't pretty.
Ahhh those totally made my Friday! I can't wait for the humiliation kids bring! Thanks for the warnings! I love your new layout...very cute.
I laughed so hard at the diarrhea comment! Ah, those were awesome!
I can't believe how cute kids can be .... sometimes! hehe
You have the cutest kids...you have to have about a dozen! Tell Ty to hurry and finish with school so you guys can move closer! I miss you guys too too much!
Give my nieces and little nephew a big hug and kiss from Auntie Mel!
I love those kiddos. Classic! My favorite is Ksenya's comment to the checker. That is so funny! I wish I could have been there for that one :) Miss you guys sooo much! Love you.
Ok so I don't have your email (mine is sarapeterson923@yahoo.com) so I will just give you a few here:
Aidric (medieval saint's name)
Archer (skilled bowman)
Bryson (1/2 prepschool name 1/2 cowboy name)
Carsten (Germanic form of Christian)
Chayton (Indian name means falcon)
Emerson (Ralph Waldo Emerson "hitch your wagon to a star" and "always do what you are afraid to do")
Griffin (part eagle and part lion)
Jace (slick and tough)
Kilian (Irish)
Lincoln (Duh)
Porter (Antique Charm)
Quinn (meatiest 1 syllable names around)
Rider (has a muscular frame)
Oh, and Booker, was another one we liked that was pretty neutral.
Ok, there were a LOT more names than I thought there would be...but maybe that is a start! Let me know what you think! Oh, and the meaning, style of the name, or origination is in parenthesis. And none of the names were in the top 100 so they are all pretty original.
HEy, I always wanted to know where to find your blog or photography site. Do you have one? Who did these fam pics? I love them. Congrats on baby #4! You guys are my heros! We are trying to have a better attitude every day and remember seeing you guys at church with smiles and thinking..... maybe if they can do it, I can do it too and not just do it, but be happy doing it.
