A Tribute to my Mothers

I have an exceptional Mother. I know most of us feel that way, but I'm sure if you knew her you'd agree - she is extraordinary. Here are just a few of an endless list of examples of why she, among women, is one I want to be like when I grow up!

She taught me to read from the Book of Mormon.

She taught me to play the piano, even though she really doesn't play.

She continues to set an example of the value of education as she battles to finish her Masters program (woohoo Mom!)

She loves me when I'm naughty.

She laughs at all of my jokes (even the slightly inappropriate ones).

She has given her whole life to the Lord in every sense, and there's not a day of my life wherein I've questioned her testimony.
I'm so thankful you are my Mom and I love you! Happy Mothers Day!

I'm blessed beyond words to love my Mother-in-law. An abbreviated list will have to do for my Mothers-day tribute to her, although no writing of mine can do her justice either.

She is an exceptional wife - I've never heard her say ANYTHING negative about or to her husband and she takes incredible care of him.

She gives the most genuine and appropriate compliments and always makes me feel good about myself.

She loves her country and has inspired me to care about politics.

She's a lot of fun to be with and has a daring spirit - she is always willing to go on another adventure!

I'm extremely grateful to count myself one of yours and I love you! Happy Mothers Day!

I love that post! How sweet of you to write it. Aren't moms just the best (and I'm not saying that because we ARE moms.. ha!)

You are a wonderful testament to your mom- and an inspiration to your friends. I am blessed to have a fabulous mom and a mother-in-law who is a second mother to me-it is a true blessing to have a loving family.

The apple doesn't fall far from the tree Toni! I can see where you get it. They both sound amazing!
