I know that this entry is long overdue but I didn't want to scare our Mom's. I do, however want to document for posterity the crazy weather we've been having. I already showed you the snow (twice in March) which I never expected to see. Lately it has been severe thunderstorms, tornado sirens and hail the size of, yes GOLF balls - no kidding! I even stole these pictures from some of the other crazy girls who went outside to get some (I wont name names but one of my friends gets a little "Carrie"d away!).

The strangest part about our weather is that it rarely gets exciting during the daytime, 3:00 a.m. seems like the magical hour, which means a lot of sleep deprived Mommy's around here! I think I'd enjoy it more during the day, at night it's just kind of scary. Oh, and did I mention the dents all over the brand new hood of the Tahoe? That's special too! So, here's hoping for more mild weather for the duration of Spring, which, in Texas is really quite beautiful. Everything is green, green, green and even my backyard is starting to look alive! I'm so thankful for our beautiful earth and seasons and how much love I feel from our Heavenly Father every time I take the time to stop and look around. Even the scary thunder (that makes you feel like you've been shot by a elephant gun), is pretty incredible if you consider it's Creator!

Why do I always seemed to be implicated in crazy behavior? Hehe, maybe that's because I am CRAZY.
WOW hail in April? That is special =) hehe I love reading your blog! Thanks for always keeping it updated, I sure miss you guys! I really hope that we can all go back to Nauvoo together, I'm trying to convince Mom that would be an awesome reunion place next year or the next? wouldn't it be? anyway Love you Sis!
That is awesome!!! I do believe that ranks up there with the storms that I saw in Arizona!! It is crazy what the weather can do!!
I hope that's the last of the hail for a little bit! Crazy stuff!!
I am shocked about golf ball hail stones in Texas! Maybe I don't know the climate there very well, but it certainly seems to be going against its typical stereotype. Glad you're okay. And glad you have crazy friends who pick up the hail stones so that you don't have to, Toni (because you would be out there if no one else did). Love and miss ya'll!
I agree this weather has been a bit crazy, but it has sure made everything super green. Spring in Texas is beautiful.
