Some people might think that we are pretty strict parents, and I guess we are,
but both Tyler and I were raised with hard-working parents who taught us
the value of work and we really want to give the same gift to our kids (call it child
slavery if you want). So - Ksenya and Kabe have recently taken on a new responsibility.
They wash the dishes at least once a day. And they really have to do it right and
well or they start over. They are getting much better at this and actually (for now)
really enjoy this "big" job. This video doesn't really capture it, I wish I could have sneaked
outside and gotten their faces, but they are the cutest little dishwashers I've ever seen.

Oh - and they also fold clothes, clean their rooms and scrub baseboards . . . what good kids :)

Great kids, Presley loves to help me with chores, so I try to never say no when she asks. and there is nothing wrong with a little child slavery, hehe.
The yard looks much better. We need to redo our back yard, do you want to come help?

That is so cute! It makes me laugh. You know I think kids can do so much more then we think. When I was 4 my Mom was really sick and I was scrubing bathrooms, dishes, dusting, etc. I think it is good for kids and you are such great parents to teach them it!

Nothing like starting early!!! That speaks wonders about what kind of mother you are! All I remember was fighting, fighting, fighting while doing dishes in our house and I am positive that I was a lot older than that. What good little children!

Just watching their little backs slave away is so funny! You are a wonderfully ruthless mom. (like mine):)

This is so cute!! Good job in training them up right! Can they come to my house? No one here does dishes, folds laundry or mop boards! Where is that fairy God mother anyway?
