Cowboy Kabe and the Big Six!

There, I said it . . . my boy is 6. Holy cow - where did the time go? This little man always keeps us in stitches and has a way of making you smile until you want to bop him. We tease that his head is flat on top from all the little taps he's gotten to remind him to shape up. Kabe has to do everything his own way and since he could speak and walk he has been a determined little man. He is a good boy though and is usually very grateful for what he gets. When I asked what he wanted for his birthday adventure he said, "Camping with Daddy and Ken". Thankfully, Ken stuck around for the camping trip and they had a great time. He said he wanted pizza for his birthday dinner - complete with a big pepperoni 6 on top (he insisted it was homemade right down to the crust). Then he said he wanted a strawberry cake like Aunt Amber had. I said, "so a strawberry cheesecake?" and he said, "Yeah! . . . . only without the cheese". Not knowing how to do that without just giving him a bowl of strawberry pie filling I made the cheesecake and he was pleased as punch. We love our sweet smart boy and couldn't imagine our family without him!

Sidenote - finally his 4T pants are a little short . . . good news! The boy is getting bigger as well as older :)
