From Dallas we drove 13 hours to Denver and stayed with my Brother. It was so nice to be able to visit with him and his soon-to-be-wife and their beautiful kids. We had so much fun and it was vital for me that we have a half-way place to rest for a day before driving the rest of the way home. I didn't realize how hard the drive would be in my present condition, but needless to say I'm not quite as tough as I thought I was.
We got to go see the Denver temple which is gorgeous. I loved how spacious the grounds seemed and it was in such a nice part of the city. All the flowers also smelled like heaven.
These kiddos are adorable and we thoroughly enjoyed playing with them and watching Bev and Jaylee be the parents while we were bystanders (I know, a little sick, but it was nice to not be the one doing the parenting). Made me thankful to be going home to my hoodlums though - 6 days is a LONG time for this mama hen to be away from her little chickies.
