There are so many things to be thankful for - particularly my 8 favorite people! (Daddy wasn't home yet when I took this picture). This is our Thanksgiving tree. Each year we write something we're thankful for on the tree throughout the month of November. This was the first time that we did it in 3-D, usually we just tape them on the wall but our walls are full of art projects and history timelines and poetry so we decided to make it a centerpiece and it turned out really pretty. Funny when you start writing them down how many things you can think of that make life beautiful and interesting and comfortable.
What fun to have some family around to celebrate with. We spent Thanksgiving day playing games games and more games and then eating a beautiful feast.
What a great reason to pull out the china and be fancy.
