At the beginning of the summer Daddy and I knew that we had a LOT that we wanted to get done. We made a list of every project that we wanted to get to before school set back in. It was an impressive list! Part of this stemmed from the desire to try to refinance in the fall. Then we let the kids make a list of all the fun things they wanted to do in the summer. We promised that for every thing we crossed off the work list, we could do something on the play list. I'm not sure we kept that promise, but it made for a HIGHLY productive and memorable summer. The kids were such good helpers with all our projects and worked really hard all summer too.
