Goat Farmers

While Grandpa and Grandma are on their trek mission we get to be goat farmers.  Part of our job (the fun part) is looking for new babies.  This little one came on a pretty cold day and it's mother didn't want anything to do with it.  We tried and coaxed for 2 hours to get the mother to reunite with baby and finally realized it wasn't going to happen.
We brought baby home and named it Snow and it became a part of the family.  Kabe was mom as he bottle fed the little dear and it learned to follow him around and come when called.  For 8 weeks she lived as part of the family until she started getting brave, wandering off and eating mom's trees and bushes (naughty).  Then she went to live at the neighbors house where she ate all the weeds (good trade) and was still close enough to call to us at night.

Now Snow is the most irritating goat on the farm - she's always under foot and in the way.  Animals are amazing and I'm thankful the kids have had the opportunity to be farmers.
