The Flour Game

For family night activity we decided to try a new game.  It's called the Flour Game.  Basically you use a teacup as a mold for flour and dump it out in a mound on the table and place a penny on top.  Each person takes a turn "cutting" the flour with a butter knife and trying not to let the penny fall down into the flour.  When it does, the person has to fish the penny out with their mouth.
This was hard for the kids because they don't like flour.  We don't ever eat it and they thought it was the grossest thing ever.  It was fun though to get it all over their faces.  Mom of course had to go first so that they dared.
Kabe was a good sport and used his tongue quite effectively to keep his face the cleanest.
Brigham got the flour up his nose and in his eyes and then he coughed and sent a puff of white all over the kitchen which sent the other kids into peals of laughter.  He wasn't a huge fan.
Ayvri thought it was pretty funny but spent the rest of the night spitting.  Apparently all my talk about how white flour isn't food stuck in her head and she was determined not to swallow any of it.
