At the ward Christmas party we had the cutest Mr & Mrs Claus. The kids took turns sitting on his lap (I think this is the first year the K's actually got the concept).
Kabe asked for boots just like Santa's (again, where do they come from?), Dad is sure this boy wants a fishing pole, but the boy is determined he's old enough for a pocket knife. Mom is in denial that he's big enough for either.
Ayvri asked for a baby doll. Considering she owns so many already (all very loved, but still) Mom thinks a wiser choice for Santa would be lip gloss . . . it's all the princess ever really wants (morning, noon, and night).
Brigham wouldn't sit with Santa. This leaves Mom and Dad certain he wants a tonka truck - the big sturdy kind that he can ram into walls and run over his sister with. (the kids' second word was tractor for crying out loud).
Darla is just what Mommy wanted for Christmas and since she was naughty and wouldn't look at the camera, she's gettin' "nuttin" .
Santa is such a funny tradition - call me a scrooge but I just don't love him. Still, it was sort of fun to listen in and hear what the kids are thinking.

Ha ha ha...I love how Santa has his own mind made up....our Santa is the same way...I have wondered myself why we let them sit on santa's lap. Mabie I will introduce next year the Santa knows exactly what we really want concept...lol..ok my bets are that it won't work but we will see. ;)
I was surprised to see a Santa post from you! This proves you're not a scrooge =)
