I love Chinese food but it's a total pain to make it so once a year on New Years Eve we have the tradition that I cook all day and we have a big chinese dinner that night. Since we were in Utah I roped one of my best friends in the world, Aunt Darla, into cooking all day with me in her very own kitchen. It was so fun just to hang out with her and we completely outdid ourselves - it was an amazing dinner (better than any chinese restaurant I've ever been to). We made ham fried rice, two kinds of sweet and sour chicken, cashew chicken, egg rolls, wontons, egg drop soup, barbeque wings and hot wings, and stuffed mushrooms.

I sure love this woman who has inspired most of my "Martha" tendencies.
