Little Brother

Well, here it is . . . proof that little brother has 5 fingers on at least one hand :) Actually, he's a very well documented boy - having had more photo-shoots in his first 20 weeks since conception than all of my other 3 kids put together. He'll have more taken in a few weeks, but everything has been measured and double-checked and he looks healthy as a holstein (at least he's making ME look like a holstein).

As for the "high-tech real-time 4-d" pictures, I think they're a little creepy, but it's cool to see there's shape to that little head. I'm getting much better at reading the ultrasounds and last time actually picked out the heart (this one's hard, it's the thing that pulses), kidneys and stomach (all of which are present and functioning normally). It was funny to see him annoyed with our poking and prodding and his little hand was flayed in front of his face most of the time. He's very proud of his other parts, however and there's no doubt that it's a little mancub coming (that or the child has 3 legs).

Hooray for boys! I'm so glad to again have balance in our family and excited to be able to say, "Honey, will you check on the Boys?" Now if only they came potty-trained! :) As per previous concerns, the blood clot behind my placenta has dissolved, the cysts on my right ovaries are finally gone and the placenta has stretched a safe distance from the cervix (no more previa). All of the tests have come back in a good way and there's no sign of any pre-term openings that would cause little brother harm. Another ultrasound and more tests will follow in 3 weeks.

Congrats on little brother. So much for wait and see, huh? I am glad that both of you are healthy. And the ultrasound with the hand- that is really cool looking!

Yay Toni!!! That is so exciting that it's another boy. I am also so glad to hear that ya'll are looking healthier. I was really scared for ya there for a minute. When do we get a belly shot? (A fully covered and clothed belly shot, that is).

Oh, that's such good news Toni!
How cool is it to think that you'll be a mom of 4 soon! wow.
We need to get together so you can go through the millions of baby boy clothes I have. (Yes, I mean millions!)
