Our kids have mostly inherited Tyler's Cherokee skin and don't burn easily at all, with the exception of Brigham who has my freckled skin and turns pink after a half hour outside. We weren't too sure about the baby who is blonde as can be and looks fair, but has never sunburned before.
Well, now we know it's possible. We spent a day at the lake and a day building a slip-n-slide in the front yard and every one of the kids got sunburned, including the baby. She wasn't too happy in this picture, but it had nothing to do with the sunburn (which didn't phase her) and more to do with the fact that I wouldn't let her hold the camera herself. Sweet baby had quite the redneck tan lines for a while and Ksenya peeled for the 2nd time in her life. Still, the kids all weathered the burn much better than their parents who had to stay in the house mostly topless for a few days because it hurt so bad! Dumb, dumb, dumb.
