These two silly girls are the only bathers I've got left. Everyone else around here is too big to bath, they take showers, complete with screaming and giggling and water all over the floor. But, this latest development means that there's more time to play in the bathtub because fewer bodies have to pass in and out of the water (no judging).
They are quite different in the tub. Leisl has no fear of water whatever. She splashes and lays on her belly and can handle quite the range of temperatures and doesn't mind if there's water in her face.
Darla, on the other hand, has never liked her bath (as in NEVER) and merely tolerates it for the most part. It's almost always the wrong temperature for her, she takes 10 minutes before she'll sit down on her bottom and she doesn't want water in her eyes, ears, belly button and about a hundred other places. I was amazed when I got this picture of them both smiling. Darla's favorite part of the bath is pouring water all over Leisl, who doesn't mind in the least. How thankful I am that these two silly girls have each other!
