Squeeze Cheese

This little girl is seriously the cutest thing eva!  She gets so much attention when she learns a new trick that she masters it quickly.  One of her many latest and greatest attention-getters is this squishy-nosed face.  She cracks us all up.  The second she makes this face her Mom and siblings quickly mimic (I'm sure that's funny too) and we all laugh together.  What a little ham. 

We've struggled to find an appropriate nick-name for this little girl (I know, here we go again with the naming inept-ness).  BUT! (here we go again with that inside joke), I found this picture the other day and immediately thought of Darla.  Then I saw a preview for a movie called Chimps and I thought it again.  Doesn't my baby Darlin' look just like a Chimpanzee?  I think so.  Her big mischevious eyes, her huge protruding belly, her scary hairs and those funny cheeks and pointy chin and stubby nose.  I'm pretty sure she's part monkey (which makes her Daddy a gorilla right?)

Thankfully, she's still a little cuddle-bug too - although most of her cuddling is done with her Daddy.  She loves to climb up on his lap and turn his head with her little hands so he's looking right where she wants him to.  What a sweet pea, we sure do love our little Monkey.
