I can't believe we're already thinking about this, but since her Baptism is just a few months away (3 - yikes) Ksenya has had it on the brain lately. After a friends baptism on Saturday she decided we should start practicing so we know how to do her hair so it doesn't float up in the water. I remembered my cousins had this awesome braid with ribbon woven through it so we decided to give it a try.

Her hair is so THICK and she is very tender-headed (just like I was). Needless to say it was a lengthy tearful process and I'm not sure she was convinced it was worth it but I loved it.

She got a ton of compliments and the best part was that it stayed in nicely for 2 days and then we took half of it out and left it curly on the 3rd day so really it was a 3-day hairstyle.

What a beauty she is and I know that it won't be her hair that is ready on her baptism day, she also gave a lovely talk in primary today, made her first attempt at bearing her testimony in sacrament meeting and is memorizing her articles of faith. What a sweet girly.
